Conjugate Heat Transfer Analysis and Heat Dissipation Design of Nucleic Acid Detector Instrument

Temperature affects both the stability of nucleic acid detectors and efficiency DNA amplification. In this study, temperature flow inside a detector were simulated results used to design vents for instrument casing. A test platform was constructed collect experimental data that simulation validation. The showed error less than ±3 K. total two heat-dissipation schemes designed based on new casing fabricated scheme with best results. Nucleic amplification performed continuously 120 min using prototype temperatures monitoring points stable maximum measured only 307.76 K (34.61 °C). Therefore, waste heat effectively eliminated, which ensured safety electronic components detection process.
